𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 এর প্রশ্নের ধরণঃ এই 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 এ দুই/তিনভাবে প্রিপারেশন নিতে হবে-

• RC (𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 – Critical Reasoning[CR]) – ১৩টার মত প্রশ্ন আসে
• (TC- 𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – ৭টার মত প্রশ্ন আসে 𝐚𝐧𝐝
• SE- 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 – ৭টার মত প্রশ্ন আসে)

Number of Questions(Approximate):

• Section 1: TC 3questions, SE 4qugstions, RC 5questions.
• Section-2: TC 4questions, SE 3questions, RC 7questions, CR 1question

TC questions: fill in blank gap টাইপের প্রশ্ন ও ৫টা আনসার অপশন দেয়া থাকে। ১ম সেকশনে ৩টা TC প্রশ্ন থাকে। ১ম প্রশ্নটা fill in blank(1 gap) টাইপের যেখানে ৫টা অপশন দেয়া থাকবে, ২য় প্রশ্নটা fill in blank(2 gap) টাইপের যেখানে ৫টা+৫টা অপশন দেয়া থাকবে, ৩য় প্রশ্নটা fill in blank(3 gap) টাইপের যেখানে ৫টা+৫টা+৫টা অপশন দেয়া থাকবে,এটা অনেক কঠিন তাই যাদের verbal ১৫৫ এর উপরে টার্গেট থাকে না তারা এটায় সময় ব্যয় না করে আন্দাজে দাগিয়ে আসতে পারেন।

SE qugstions: ৬টা স্কয়ার shape এর আনসার অপশন থাকবে যেখান থেকে আনসারে সঠিক similiar meaning এর(একটা) pair সিলেক্ট করতে হবে। [এক্ষেত্রে, সাজেশন থাকবে আগে answer option দেখে pair ঠিক করে এরপর sentence এর সাথে সামঞ্জস্য বের করে ঐ দুইটা দাগানো/সিলেক্ট করা] এটা মোটামুটি সবচেয়ে বলা যায়।

RC questions: একটা ছোট্ট একটা প্যাসেজের এর আন্ডারে একটা বা দুইটা প্রশ্ন দেয়া হয়। এক্ষেত্রে, ছোট্ট ঐ প্যাসেজের আন্ডারে দুই ধরনের RC questions format দেখা যায়:
১) multiple-choice টাইপ, যেখানে সাধারণ নিয়মের মতই অনেকগুলো আনসার অপশন থেকে একটি সঠিক আনসার সিলেক্ট করতে হবে
২) select-in-passage টাইপ, যেখানে প্রশ্ন আনসারের বেলায় passage পড়ে mouse এর মাধ্যমে passageএর যে বাক্যটি সঠিক বলে মনে হবে ঐ বাক্যের যেকোনো word এ ক্লিক করলেই হবে(প্রশ্নের সঠিক উত্তরের সাথে সঠিকভাবে মিল হয়েছে এমন প্যাসেজ বাক্যটি)। তখন বাক্যটি automatically highlighted হয়ে যাবে।

CR(critical reasoning) question: প্যাসেজে/উদ্দীপকে কিছু একটা বলা থাকবে সেটার ব্যাসিসে আন্দাজ করতে হবে, একটা প্যাসেজের আন্ডারে একটাই আনসার option হয়। এটা সবচেয়ে বেশি কঠিন।

প্রশ্নের ধরণঃ

TC ও SE: সাধারণত দুই ধরণের এসে থাকে। যেমন-

• ১) support
• ২) contrast

সাজেশন- এগুলা answer করার সময় optionগুলা দেখা যাবে না, কারণ tricky optionগুলা দেখে ফাঁদে পড়ে যেতে পারেন।

answer করার Trickগুলো দেওয়া হল-

Strategy 1(Single blank ):- answer করার সময় ১টা TC/SE চারটা ভাগে ভাগ করব-

১। Find—> the divisions/transition (punctuation marks & connecting words) [যেকোনো যায়গায় থাকতে পারে]

২। Determine whether it is—> support or contrast(যেকোনো একটা) [দুই পার্টের সামঞ্জস্য থাকে]

৩। Focus on the—> Non Blank part

৪। Make your Answer (simply প্যারাপেজ করব, টিটেইলসে করতে গেলে আওলাই যাবে)

Tips, Tricks & Teqniques (All)

• — জিআরই’র verbal সেক্শনে তিনটি অংশের মধ্যে Text Completion এবং Sentence Equivalence প্রশ্নগুলোতে প্রস্তুতি ভালো করতে সেন্সিং পদ্ধতি ব্যবহার করতে হবে. সেন্সিং পদ্ধতির মূলকথা হলো আপনি Text Completion (TC) কিংবা Sentence Equivalence (EC) এর প্রশ্নগুলো প্রথমেই ভালো করে পড়ে নিবেন এবং বাক্যটির অর্থ বুঝার চেষ্টা করবেন. তারপর চয়েস থেকে একে একে শব্দগুলো নিয়ে বাক্যটির অর্থের সাথে মেলানোর চেষ্টা করবেন. যে চয়েসটি সবচেয়ে বেশি মিলবে তাই হচ্ছে সাধারণত উত্তর.
  – তবে সেন্সিং পদ্ধতির প্রথমেই আপনার সফলতা আসবে না. এই জন্য লাগবে অনেক অনুশীলন. আর অনুশীলনগুলো করতে হবে প্রতিদিন. কোনো দিন আধা ঘন্টা ফ্রি সময় পেলেই চেষ্টা করবে ৩-৪ প্রশ্নের সমাধান করতে এমন করে. বেশি বেশি অনুশীলন করার ২ থেকে ৩ মাস পর দেখবেন প্রায় অনেকগুলো verbal সেক্শনের প্রশ্ন আপনি অনেক তাড়াতাড়ি এবং সহজে শেষ করে ফেলছেন.
  সেন্সিং পদ্ধতির সাফল্য এই ক্ষেত্রেই.
• — জিআরই কিংবা জিম্যাট এর সমস্যায় যে ইংরেজি বাক্যগুলো থাকে তার আকার সাধারণত বড় হয়. আর এই বড় বাক্য আমরা অনেকেই বুঝতে পারি না ফলে ভুল উত্তর করার প্রবণতা বেশি থাকে.যে কোনো বড় বাক্য বুঝার একটি জনপ্রিয় পদ্ধতি হচ্ছে বাক্যটিকে ভেঙ্গে ভেঙে বুঝার চেষ্টা করা. আর এই ক্ষেত্রে গ্রামারের জ্ঞান আপনাকে সাহায্য করবে. তা ছাড়া যে কোনো ভাষা বোঝার জন্য দরকার গ্রামার বোঝা.
• — <> Memory Tricks and Mnemonics ও Magoosh টাইপের বই থেকে ভোকাবুলারি শেখার জন্য আপনার কাজ হবে প্রতিদিন পড়া. এই ক্ষেত্রে একদম ভোরবেলা উঠে প্রতিদিন বইটির ৫ পৃষ্ঠা করে পড়বেন. আবার একই ৫ পৃষ্ঠা রাতের বেলা আরো এক বার পড়বেন. এই রকম করে প্রতিদিন পড়তে হবে.
  আমাদের ব্রেইনের একটি মেমরি হচ্ছে মাসল মেমরি. এই রকম করে পড়লে আপনার মাসল মেমরি কিছুটা হলেও ভালো একটা পর্যায়ে আসবে.

How to identify wrong answers (traps)

1. Flat out wrong

verbal সেক্শনে ভালো করার মূলমন্ত্র হচ্ছে নিজের ভোকাবুলারি কিংবা শব্দভাণ্ডার মজবুত করা কারণ জিআরইতে সাধারণত বেশ কিছু শব্দ ব্যবহার করা হয় যা আমরা সাধারণত ব্যবহার করি না আমাদের দৈন্দন্দিন জীবনে.
